Bring Up The Bodies has been 350 miles with me this weekend, has been brought out in several cafes in Arkengarthdale (North Yorkshire) and made an appearence at Richard 111's childhood home of Middleham Castle (as opposed to his alleged recent home in Leicestershire) - I thought the historic setting would help me to get a feel for the regal protagonists in the book.
Oh my word - this is definitely not the genre I would usually go for - 100 pages in and I'm not entirely sure who's who - I am going to have to read faster. That said, the rich description of Henry and his Queen is fascinating and I'm excited to find out what happens to that girl Jane Seymour...........
