The Lighthouse

I certainly found this the most readable of the three books I have read to date.

I certianly enjoyed it but didn't really feel it was an exceptional book. I added a comment to the main entry.

The Lighthouse - wow!

I absolutely loved this book. If only Hitchcock was still with us he could create a suspense to rival Psycho! I wasn't sure it would work at first - the continual interleaving of backstory - but in the end it did. Alison Moore is clearly a prodigious talent - you don't get to be shortlisted for Bridport AND the Manchester fiction otherwise. Now on with Bring Up The Bodies, fingers stuck in the List of Characters and Genealogy.
