I think the shortlist could have been predicted and I'm sorry The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry wasn't included as I thoroughly enjoyed the book (or I should say, eBook).
Looking forward toreading the newbies - I have read Narcopolis but will keep comments until later. Mantel and Self? Detailed/factual versus fantastical/self-exploratory? Hmmm . . .
Paul, you are free to post to heart's content on the Narcopolis page. (See tab above). Group members are warned to steer clear of the pages until you have finished the book, because they will (we hope) be filled with commentary that includes spoilers and unbridled opinions.
