One Down... Five to Go

Well I have just finished Narcopolis by Jeet Thayil.  Fascinating novel and I've added a few thoughts as a comment to its main post.

I'll be passing this on to Chris now and have collected 'Umbrella' from the library. I peeked at the opening page and my heart sunk a little. While I enjoy first person narration, I tend to not get on with stream-of-consciousness.
